I ordered these as they popped up on a Facebook money saving page. Loving a good bargain and the fact it’s a full box of flakes, I thought I was onto a winner as a cheeky surprise for my two teenage sons.In my excitement of saving a few quid it slipped my mind that every Monday morning I have to report to Jackie, the local slimming world consultant, .due to the fact that over the years, I’ve consumed my fair share of flakes and other things which has led us to this predicament.Naively, I thought I would have willpower to resist all temptation and that the incentive of bagging the “slimmer of the week” hamper of butter beans, out of date soup and the tin of pease pudding that’s been recycled more times, than a Costco water bottle would spur me on.All was going well until the youngest child returned from school and opened the box. Having read previous reviews saying the flakes were fake, of course I had to test, plus it didn’t help they smelt amazing. That subtle aroma of cadburys chocolate that instantly gets your juices flowing!So now we have 137 flakes and I still have to resist snaffling a good chunk of them until Monday, when I have to convince Jackie its water retention due to the heat and not the fact I’ve been been on them like a sparrow on a crumb.Very good flakes, I am just weak, what more can I say!

Great value, Cadbury’s actually make these in Egypt and then ship to UK. So when had previous a lot arrive damaged.Lucky this particular one was intact, although shelf life only few months.

We worth buying

My husband and I eat these as a treat at any time of the day and they are great with ice-cream and other deserts too .I would recommend this product.

Ordered these for ice cream at home after recently getting a soft serve machine, instead of buying the small 14 packs I thought I would try this as we would be making lots of ice cream during the summer months. Package arrived quickly and flakes seem to be all in good condition. My only frustration is that the best before date expires in 2 months which does not give much time at all to use 144 flakes for home use and it will expire before we even get to summer!
