Personally, for in-home displays, I like the style of this plate stand holder better than most.I’ve found its level, low front rail, with a little bit of depth between front and back slant-rail, and not much overall depth to the holder, lends itself to…- 1. With just one size of this holder, one can more securely display a larger variety of plate and platter sizes and shapes than other footed holder designs offered, and- 2. More items can be displayed within a given space, and- 3. One needs to purchase fewer sizes of this holder design to securely display a wide range of item depths, heights, and widths.Also consider this…the utility of having a low front rail on a display’s holders: in a crowded cabinet display, most back items holders will be entirely hid by the front display items.And after all, what do you want to display? The plates, cups, bowls, platters, decorative items one owns… or the plate holders? If, in a display, most of my plate holders parts are not a necessary design element and are hid, that is a plus as far as I’m concerned.Regarding the twisted, plated wire in these holders…Yes, wood and sometimes black wire holders do have more class. But do you realize the usefulness of reflected light off the twisted wire, close to the base of display items? Some might not recognize its utility…If one has dealt with display lighting and photographing decorative items, they know having any amount reflective material under or beside an item can help with diffusing light throughout a display and will improve lighting on individual items.The twisted wire does that, reflecting light back in and through the display; black wire and dark-wood stands do not do that.Please understand, I love and use carved wood holders all the time for larger, more important display pieces. But these holders do take space. I use them when displaying just one to three medium- to large-sized items together, and also, within larger cabinets containing a mix of display items, making sure I leave enough room around and visual access to the larger items on their embellished wood stands.

Bought these easels to display antique plates and platters on top of my kitchen cabinets. Very sturdy and do not topple over. Great value! Would buy again!

These are good and get the job done, but they are not bendable or adjustable

As described, using these to display my great grandmother’s dishes.

These arrived promptly but were way too small to hold my plates. I was going to return them but it would cost me $6.00. That sure doesn't make sense to me. Not real happy with this purchase.

I went through many stands and nothing worked! But I tried these! They were delivered the day before my wedding! And they worked perfectly! They held my glass perfectly! My guests begged to have the stands afterwards lol.
