Affordable food that birds love and squirrels won't touch
The birds love this one. I put out one cake alongside my other feeders, and it's gone in four hours. I've never seen a squirrel even try to get close to the feeder or the residue that drops on the ground. I used to have to fight off the squirrels with expensive squirrel-proof feeders, but this suet cake and some other hot pepper-treated bird food does the job in a standard cage feeder. I haven't seen a squirrel near the feeders yet this year.An 8-pack of this lasts just over a week. Lots of bird entertainment for fairly small money.

I have no birds
The product seems fine. Just like any other suet packaged. My birds (in the Northeast) haven't been near it. No birds, No Squirrels, No Chipmunks which is all good but no birds is not !

Birds love it, squirrels ignore it.
Easy to add to backyard feeders. Withstands high heat, humidity, and rain. The birds love it: attracts cardinals, wrens, red bellied woodpeckers, and a variety of other lowcountry birds. The squirrels want NOTHING to do with it !!!

Great product. Definitely attracts birds.
I use Cornell University app MERLIN that identifies birds by sound. When this woodpecker appeared in my sound feed, MERLIN suggested adding suet to my feeder. After just one day the woodpecker appeared. So far suet is holding up great in my Austin Texas "feels like 102."

Twice as expensive as it should be
The product itself is fine. It keeps the squirrels away so the birds can eat. However, the seller is price gouging. You can buy an eight pack of these for $12 and change at Walmart. Why is it $31 and more here on Amazon? I like the convenience of having it delivered but I’d rather spend the gas and drive 30 minutes to spend only $12 on these than the other way around.

My birdies love it-and the squirrels hate it! Yay!
After trying to feed the birds in my yard birds seed only to have the squirrels eat the majority of it, I started feeding them this hot pepper suet and the birds love it, but the squirrels won't go near it!
