They work great. Recharge in OVEN!
I live in an extremely damp house which is prone to mould, so I thought these would be a great idea to absorb extra moisture in boxes and drawers. And so far, it looks like they work. I only ordered these yesterday and the silica gel bags I made have already turned green overnight. If the green colour truly means the beads have absorbed moisture, then these work like a charm! Silica gel can absorb about 37% of its weight in moisture, so the 2lbs (almost 1000g) can absorb about 370ml of water. These beads can be “recharged” or dried out by putting them in the oven. Do not use a microwave as it will damage the silica gel. It needs to dry slowly. Do not heat them hotter than 150° as it will destroy the absorbing properties of the beads. I put them in my oven on a baking sheet at 100° for 40 minutes and left them to cool inside the oven before poring them back into the container. They’ve returned back to orange and are ready to be reused! Apparently they can be reused over 500 times, so these beads are a very worthwhile purchase. Just note that silica gel can let moisture back into the air. Don’t leave the green beads to sit out as they will start to ‘leak’. It’s important to dry them out regularly. My only minor complaints are that the opening in the container is quite large. I wish it had a narrower opening so the beads could be poured without making a mess. I also noticed that many of the beads are broken and not whole pieces, but I’m sure they absorb moisture just the same. But overall, I’m very happy with these and will probably buy more!

Good
Does what it says on the tin.. Just be careful if recharging in the microwave, use the defrost setting as it will get very hot on normal

This Stuff is Great for my 3D printing Hobby.
Live in the UK and the only place for my 3d printer has a variable temperature and can be quite damp. The filament spools from a colour changing box so you would think that moisture wouldn't be a problem. Completely the opposite. So i printed some small containers to fit in the recesses filled them with this stuff. Problem solved. because you can reactivate, it is good value. recommended and will buy again when needed.

Seems to work really well
Seems to work well, although I've not tried "recharging" them yet. I did drop some in some water as a test and it didn't seem to change colour, although I'm not sure if that's a valid test.I can recommend adding some "empty paper tea bags" to your Amazon order as an ideal container for these when using to dry 3D primter filament.
