These rechargeable emergency light bulbs have been an excellent purchase. They work like a regular light bulb when plugged in, but as soon as the power goes out, they turn on automatically thanks to the internal battery. A very practical and effective solution!The installation is the same as with a regular light bulb, and the battery life is quite good: in my case, they lasted more than 3 hours during a power outage. I also liked that they include a hook to hang them as a portable flashlight, which is very useful outdoors or when moving around the house without power.

These bulbs are amazing! I can't recommend them enough. They function just like a regular light bulb in your lamp, providing a bright white light. But the real magic happens during a power outage—these bulbs stay lit! You can even remove them from the lamp socket, attach the included cap with a hook, press the button on the bottom, and carry them around your home like a portable light.I bought these as part of our hurricane preparedness kit, and I'm so glad I did. Ahead of Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton, I installed them in our lamps to charge. Once charged, I removed two, put the caps on, and kept them ready for use. When the power went out during Hurricane Milton, our entire house was pitch dark—except for the bedroom lamp with this bulb! I actually thought there was a wiring issue until I remembered it was the emergency bulb—ha!We used the capped bulbs to navigate the house and even hung one in the bathroom for showers. Unlike candles, these bulbs don’t generate heat, which was a lifesaver in a house without A/C and sealed windows. When it was time for bed, I simply flipped the lamp switch, and the bulb turned on—despite the power outage.We were without power for five days, and these bulbs lasted around four days on a single charge (used sparingly at night). As they started to dim, they were still functional. Honestly, they were invaluable during the outage! I highly recommend them to everyone.

They have a remote with choice of multiple colors and brightness. I have an expensive lamp that needs the cord replaced. Instead, I just hung 2 of these bulbs inside from frame and they look great. Soft glow. Charge last & depends on brightness / time on but seems to be acceptable. Charges quickly, too. Can’t wait to use them when power goes out. I’ll be feeling pretty smart.

I live in Hurricane Country, so these bulbs are a lifesaver. We had an outage the other night, and some similar bulbs I had bought earlier came on, sparing me a dark, frightening house. These are a warm, golden light that lights up a nice circle. Another brand I bought is bright white and lights up the whole area. I recommend getting both, keeping them all charged, so you can have both kinds of lights. I use only one at a time, and when it runs down, I put in a new charged one.

Soft white and daylight rechargeable bulbs delivered as detailed. High power mode only when installed in a fixture and switch is on. 3 light brightness settings when in battery mode.Unless I missed it, there needs to be clearer wording that these bulbs do not function as normal lightbulbs in a fixture.They work perfect for power outages or as a portable light source. But if installed into a fixture to charge, if you turn off the switch it automatically turns on in battery mode. I re-read the directions a few times and it does not clearly say that you cannot use the bulb as a standard bulb in normal power conditions. The only way to turn off the bulb was to unplug the fixture or loosen the bulb.For now they are charged and in the box waiting to be used.

Love these work very well could use them for camping. We use them for a church play and they work great.The charge last a long time didn’t have to be recharging it

Not as functional as I thought. Wish I would have read description more. These charge when light is on. Then when you turn the light off they remain on because of the charge and slowly dim until dark. So it seems like you have to charge them all fully leaving lights on for them to fully charge (wasting electricity). That "charge" lasts about 3-4 hours before it's completely dark. So essentially that's all the time you have to use them if electricity were to go out, which is why I got them (in case of emergency if lights went out). So I'm ok with the purchase but not happy with it.

This is an awesome product! A friend gave me one as a gift. I was so impressed with them that I have ordered more for myself and have given them to friends and family. No live fire, no drippy wax, rechargeable. They are bright enough to read with! Charge lasts for hours. Highly recommend.
