Very easy to set up and use. Connecting and syncing to the app was quick and easy. The app is amazing and there are a lot of customization options. Monitors heart rate, workouts, steps etc. Also supports camera control from the watch. Takes 2 hours to fully charge and lasts for 2 weeks. Amazing product for the price. Very happy with the purchase and would recommend it over Fitbit or other similar expensive smart bands.

July will mark 1 year since owning this watch and I absolutely love it. Heart rate tracker is incredibly accurate and comes in clutch especially during workouts. The step count, sleep tracker, battery life are the best and my most used features. As a nurse I also appreciate the built in timer and the water resistance! Apps can also be sorted for your convenience through the Mi Fitness app instead of having to scroll and find what you’re looking for. I will be buying a different band that is more secure as the only issue I’ve had with this watch thus far is the standard black band getting caught and coming undone on things. It just pops loose and I don’t like that. However, overall an excellent watch!

This serves the purpose I need, which is a basic watch (with alarm, timer, etc.) and step counter/exercise monitor. I mainly use it to measure the quality of my workouts. It has a lot of functions that not everyone might use, but you can easily adjust the settings to toggle functions on/off. Battery life is great, at around two weeks per charge (but I'm sure that would be greatly diminished by having location turned on). So far, I've had no issues with it syncing to the Mi Fitness app.

The manual blood pressure reading constantly fails even though the automatic reading and the specific exercise timers have no problem tracking my bpm. And it is accurate since I have compared it to my blood pressure machine, the readings at my doctor's office, and my Wahoo heart meter strap. So it's some weird software issue just affecting the manual bpm reading. Hasn't been fixed in the year I have owned this piece of junk & their have been several updates.This thing literally just fell apart less than a month after the 1 year warranty expired. I bought it July 2024 and it is August 2025 now. The innards drop out when I take it off my wrist and the touch screen doesn't work hardly at all. It is still functioning, it can sync with the Mi Fitness app but it is unusable now.I also own one of their tablets I bought this year and that has been a terrible experience too in so many ways especially with HyperOS, their awful version of Android.I will never buy a Xiaomi product again. I highly recommend you just pay a bit more for a premium brand and look for used or refurbished to save a bit of money. Their cheaper prices are not worth it. You'll end up paying more over time since their products are not built to last and you will need to buy more replacements than a premium brand.

This is as good as any other "fit" device. It will not do texting but will receive messages. It will only buzz, no bing bong.Its a China app and all data is sent to China. But the app is actually a full functioning app and will allow for pushing data to google or other fit apps on your phone.Colorful display, several default options to allow for custom look.

I bought the Mi Band 8 back in end of January 2024. I used the product 24/7 to track my sleep, steps, recovery, and other basic health markers. I knew this was a lower-end product so I didn't honestly expect the most accurate or intelligent tracking system. It worked good for steps and basic cardio tracking. But obviously weightlifting (like most trackers) is quite inaccurate. And sleep tracking was always subpar but I really didn't mind.The kicker here is that months later, the display just stopped working entirely. I can't navigate screens and it randomly turns on and off. I've spent the last few weeks trying to contact customer service, the warranty center and any representative across their websites, hotlines and social media outlets but no one can help and every number and web page they direct me to says "404 error page not found".For the price, I knew I was taking a gamble on this tracker, but I just wanted to share my experience to help out the next buyer. Since I can't get ahold of anyone for the manufacturers warranty I am now on the hunt for a new fitness tracker, one with a better customer service reputation.3 stars because when the tracker worked, it wasn't bad - it's what you'd expect for the price tag in my opinion.
