PERFECT!!!! Brought my old bag, back to life with a magnetic clasp that works!!!! Took the backing off the female side (three tabs) and secured it to the existing button (the old female part fell off). Brass button on left, but perfect fit!!

My daughter found a backpack she really liked at a thrift store, it was missing the buttons to close it. These were so easy to use!! She was so happy once they came the bag was fixed and ready to be used.

Bought these to replace existing snaps on a leather backpack, and it was a perfect fit, easy to install, looks identical to the original manufacturer snaps, very pleased!

First, the magnets work and the catch has plenty of strength to hold a pocket shut.But that's if you can figure out how to mount it. The prongs are huge, about 2mm wide and way too big to push through any kind of fabric without tearing it.THEN, you have to deal with the folded-over prongs, and they are ugly. The provided backing washers are silver, not the same color as the magnets, and they stand out like a golf ball in a coal mine. I painted them, but the paint doesn't stick.AND the backing washers are dead-soft metal, flimsy, and don't really provide any backing to speak of.I would have given it two stars, but the magnets are pretty strong so I bumped it to 3. Probably too generous.I'm not sure that I'll figure out any way to use these. Likely headed for the trash.

I broke the clasp on my favorite purse and was worried I'd have to buy a whole new one, but my mom suggested fixing it myself and I saved so much money by ordering these and just fixing the bag. They are super simple to use (they'd have to be for me to be able to do it lol).

My husband installed two of these on a purse I bought that gapped open. The purse is now securely closed and the snaps were easy to install and work great.

I added these to a camera bag as a closure instead of velcro. They are just barely strong enough to hold the bag closed, and not strong enough to snap closed easily unless the magnets are perfectly aligned. While attaching them, I found that one did not work well; the cover of the magnet was aligned wrong so the magnet would not stick.
