Transform passion into a successful business
KindleUnlimited review 4.5/5. Author Carmel (founder of Finance Knights Publications) explains step-by-step tips, strategies, and techniques to increase one’s chances of creating a successful business venture. The author claims there are three types of businesses opportunities: service-based, product-based, and digital product-based. The book begins by stating its purpose is not providing “overnight hacks, quick wins, or get-rich-quick schemes, this isn't the right place for you.” Instead this book is for entrepreneurs “committed to sustainable, long-term growth” of their fledgling business with a “proven framework” for success. Learning from case studies and other’s business mistakes is especially important because the majority of new businesses fail. This book contains ten chapters: 1) The Entrepreneurial Journey, 2) Finding Your Business Idea, 3) Crafting a Business Plan, Your Roadmap to Success, 4) Start a Business with Zero Budget, 5) Choose the best entity structure for your business, 6) Business Registration and Employer Identification Number, 7) Create Your MVP Strategy, 8) Develop the Product or Service and launch it, 9) Going Beyond Success, and 10) Accounting.A big take away to avoid failure is to offer high-quality goods/services and marketing to discover potential customers while treating one’s employees with respect. The skilled required are Continuous Learning, Adaptability, Customer-Centric Approach, Entrepreneurial Vision, Marketing Mastery, Leadership & Positive Workplace Culture, and Resilience & Turning Challenges into Opportunities. According to Carmel, the four critical factors for entrepreneurial success are one’s skills, experience, passion, and market potential. There are more useful topics with examples covered such as SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, & Threats) analysis, Return on Investment, business plans (Traditional, Lean Business, Non-Profit), business entity (sole proprietorships, partnerships, corporations, & LLCs), etc.As a bonus, the author provides a QR code to access a free copy of "The Small Business Masterclass" in exchange for subscribing to the author’s mailing list.

An actual book with substance
Here is a book that will benefit people who are already in business or maybe thinking about going into business for themselves. Their items touched on here that you wouldn't want to have to think about or discover in the process of starting a business. Better to have a heads up on some of these topics and be prepared when they become relevant if you're building a business from scratch. Easy to read, well done

Very Basic....Very, very basic
The title is accurate. This is a dummy guide. No secrets uncovered though as the content was lacking. As a business owner, I found this guide sadly lacking in anything but extremely basic know how found on internet and compiled and I also thought the text was strangely laid out as far as kindle making it difficult to read as some of it was spread really far with lots of white space and some crammed altogether. I was hoping for a book to share with beginning business owners but this seems a little more of a middle school research paper. Sadly disappointed

It's designed for ultimate beginners
The content may be basic to others. But here's the thing: sometimes basic is exactly what we beginners need. This book doesn't promise magic secrets or overnight success. It provides a solid foundation, a clear roadmap, and the confidence to take the first steps on our entrepreneurial journey. Definitely for the ultimate beginner, and that's exactly who I am. This book gave me the practical tools, the encouragement, and the kick in the pants I needed to stop dreaming and start doing. And if you're a beginner like me, eager to ditch the cubicle and build something of your own, then this book is for you.
