Germany 1918-1945: A depth study (Discovering the Past for GCSE)

I think this is an excellent text for GCSE review. The material is presented in a clear and fun way, with diagrams, maps, tables, and cartoons for ease of understanding. The layout is striking and it is just an enjoyable text to use. There is also greater depth to the information in this book than I've found in other GCSE textbooks. I bought it as a teacher source and I've found it extremely helpful. I teach the AQA, and now that they have added to the syllabus, I found this book provides all the additional information I need that is not included in the official AQA textbook. There is also further background information available in this book to give my students greater understanding of the subject. The combination of the traditional AQA textbook and this GCSE student book, gives a more complete and thorough knowledge of the material. Highly recommended.

I used this book when I was at school, studying for my GCSE. I bought it again as I remembered it being very thorough in it's subject and I remembered correctly. An excellent book and full of different sources and pictures. Highly recommended

Its a book with pictures and lots of personnal accounts of events, easy going and easy to understand. good for gcse type studies

Good quality, quick delivery

This revision guide came on time. Even though i am using a used book it still is in perfect conditions. I would recommend all gcse students NEED to purchase this for higher grades

This is a good sensible survey of the topic and contains a lot of useful information: the section on Northeim is particularly valuable. Appears to cover the ground comprehensively and the authors are aware of recent scholarship.
