So happy this game is back! I was a little hesitant since they went the unpainted route, but I gotta say painting minis has quickly become one of my favorite hobbies. I still have a lot of the figures from the OG game from decades ago and my paint jobs actually look much better! Game is fun and so customizable, truly feels like endless playability. I feel like the models are exceptionally well made in comparison to the previous edition, so much detail in each one.

The miniatures look great even unpainted. High quality pieces it is compatible with all the older sets of heroscape. This is a great game and can be set up in a smaller map with fewer pieces for shorter thirty minute games or you can combine it with other sets and have a huge prolonged war.

If you loved the old game you will love this one. Same game with new awesome units.
