These speed bump cord/hose/pipe protectors are excellent for home use. Super sturdily made from recycled materials. True as advertised sized cable and cord channels. Easily connected and nicely weighted. Thus, with a bit of initial odor, but nothing unreasonable. Particularly if you plan to use them outside or anywhere other than a living area. In our case, we needed something to protect a fuel oil line running from our new fuel oil tank to an oil-fired furnace in our basement because our previous buried fuel line was no longer allowed by local code and running the line overhead proved to be impossible. Thus, these ramps worked great for protecting the new and extremely fragile 1/2" copper fuel line that we had to run on top of our cellar floor at many times less cost than other options. Per my photos, I used the full blocks going across the floor and split the blocks in half lengthwise to protect the line running along the wall. They are not meant for heavy commercial or industrial use and are clearly marked as such. However, I suspect most homeowners would find them to be more than adequate.

These cord and pipe covers are exactly what I needed for a trip hazard in my basement furnace room. I used them to cover an 80 inch long 3/4 inch PVC pipe and the result was perfect. They’re impressively strong and durable, and connecting two gave me full coverage without any awkward gaps. The fit was seamless and really cleaned up the space while making it safer. These also grip the cement floor well and don't easily slide around. I Couldn’t be happier with how well they handled the job. Solid product all around.

I needed to have an irrigation hose crossing a driveway for my front landscape. Although the hose was very tough, after only a few months of driveway traffic, leaks developed. My hoses are 3/4" so anything with smaller channels will Not work. Although my driveway is 12' across - this only leaves about a foot on either end - unlikely to be a problem for routine traffic. Upon arrival I noted these panels are Vevor - a mainstream manufacturer. They are heavy duty And the interlocking lugs will prevent segment separation. Dual channel construction permits me to also run holiday lighting wires for Halloween and Christmas without any problems. I've tried others. This is the answer. Highly Recommended.

The rubber base is robust and handles heavy vehicles well, a loaded tractor trailer went over them with no issue. The water hose I ran though them has been well protected. I am using this at the entrance to a Church parking lot, so it sees a lot of traffic two days a week. My main complaint is the steep angle of the incline, which acts as a pretty serious speed bump, which was not my goal or preference. This steep angle can also cause it to be pushed by car tires, depending on how people go over it. One time, it got pushed to the point where the connector joint between two sections broke. If they had made the unit wider with a more gentle incline, it would be perfect. I looked at other models that had a wider top to protect more hoses, but they all have the same steep incline. The wider ones, however, would have more grip to prevent sliding I have considered gluing them down, but have not tried it yet. There ae no nailing holes provided, but that is another option if you don't mind driving nails in your asphalt. Despite the problems, I gave it a four since my unprotected hose was destroyed in a week, and this system is keeping my hose well protected.

For the cost, these have performed very well. They have reliably withstood the weight of my 40’ bus, other buses and trailers, heavy construction equipment, etc. Far stronger than the ratings listed. I’ve had them in use for about six months.

I've owned an EV for 4 years (Tesla Model 3). Because my property has an easement (a right of way for my neighbors to drive to their properties), it's tricky to charge my car. My parking spot is about 25 feet from my house. So I need to run the charging cable to the car from the house over the easement. I've tried a few different cord covers in the past, but they haven't held up that well over time - they move around too much or have simply worn out after repeated crossing of my neighbors' cars.This set of cord covers from Happybuy appear to be much sturdier than my earlier choices. Also, the fact that this cover is a bit of a ramp slows down one particularly nasty neighbor who liked to drive over my cord cover at high speed, inflicting as much damage as possible. She tried that once with the Happybuy cover in place and probably smacked her head into her car's ceiling (sorrryyy... NOT!). That slowed her down.Anyway, the HappyBuy cord protector ramps install easily, fit together well and have plenty of space for an electrical cable even thicker than my current 20 amp/12 gauge extension cord. You could easily fit a garden hose in one of the two channels. The only issue is that they do slide ever so slightly after repeated car crossings. I've just nudged them back in place with my feet, but I will probably use a bit of construction adhesive underneath them in order to anchor them more securely to the cement driveway.Will post an update if they develop any problems over time, but so far, so good.UPDATE (February, 2023): Well that nasty neighbor struck back. She started revving up her car to a high speed and slamming the breaks when on top of the cord cover in order to force them to slide, thereby causing the covers to separate and exposing the cables inside. I have Ring camera video footage of it. It's actually kind of humorous to watch. Some people must have very sad lives. Anyway, I tried a couple of different construction adhesives, but all required over a day to set, and none of them held the covers in place for long. My ultimate solution was to use Tapcon concrete screws to hold the cord covers in place on my driveway.By the way, after melting a couple of the "titanium coated" Tapcon bits, I discovered that these mortar bits work *much better* when you use an impact drill, as opposed to a regular drill. The impact drill allows the Tapcon mortar bit to drill through concrete and cement pretty quickly without melting. I also poured a little water into the holes to keep the bit cool. Once I secured the cord covers in place with the Tapcon screws, they stopped moving entirely. Several months later, they are still firmly in place. This does make it a little more difficult to do leaf and snow cleanup (since I can't move the covers now) but the power cable is well protected, which is the important thing.Happybuy Cord Protectors (with Tapcon screws): 1 - Nasty Neighbor: 0
