Really a solid 4.5☆+
I'm larger at 6'4" and I like to leave reviews for bigger people to read. That's the kind of review I look for when buying. The knife is very good but imperfect like every other knife. Here are my Pros & Cons:Pros:1) Solid and feels like good quality. Steel looks and feels like D2.2) Great pocket carry size for me.3) Thumb release on sheath is firm and consistent.4) This micarta feels great, just hope it's durable long-term. 🙏5) Balance is great, exactly at the index finger location.Cons:1) Jimping is short and shallow. A sharper and more significant length would be a +.2) The hold angle feels great for whittling. When arm is extended for slashes, the angle pitches back a little more than Id like, this will possibly require training and to adjust slash travel length if you want to use this for CCW.3) A small peeve, it arrives in a cellophane bag and the blade is smudgy and dirty with very, very minor scratches/defects in the stone wash. Go black or high polished steel Kizer, your stone wash stinks.

Great knife, just be ready to work on a new sheath.
I really like this knife for its design profile with the finger ring on the handle. The ring isn’t placed ergonomically so you can have a finger through it and hold it fully..but I submit this is real life and not an episode of Naruto so I still like the finger ring for the fact it is there for a quick draw from the sheath. The knife quality is great in both the handle and the steel used and definately worth the money. My only real critique of something I didn’t like was the sheath that it came with is almost built like it doesn’t know what it is for. The leather straps wrap around it and the snaps aren’t really strong enough to hold through force needed to pull the knife out quickly if it was looped on a belt.

Comfortable reliable grip good purchase
I love this Knife, came nice and sharp right out of the box, the sheath and the leather belt loops to scout carry it was not working for me, the handle stuck out a bit too far and it was snagging on things. My solution was to get a Tek Lock belt clip attachment and drill a small hole in the sheath for the screw. Now it carries vertically like a dream my current EDC for the past few weeks now.

Beautiful, well constructed
Beautiful. Well constructed. I need more than one so I can have a work knife and a clean edc. Feels good in my large hands, sheath has great retention. I wear it horizontally on the back of my belt. Love this knife.

I love this knife!
After trying several different knife brands and designs over the years for my edc load out, this one is the most desirable. It has right sheath attachment angle for the handle, there is a notch and finger-ring for a confident grip during deployment & use, the sheath itself is perfectly minimal, and it's delightfully sharp out of the box. Besides all that it's a beautiful knife, when I'm not wearing it, I keep it displayed on my credenza, separate from the rest of my pocket dump items just for the sake of looking at it. The only way they could improve this knife is to make one just like it but with half the blade thickness.

Be prepared to immediately redo the carry method
This is the second Kizer Fixed Blade I've ordered from Amazon. The first was the Kizer Baby Fixed Blade, and now this one. Both are EXCELLENT knives that will find their way into your EDC with ease. Good blades, very sturdy construction and sharp right out of the box. Fix my large hands well, conceals easily, snaps into its molded Kydex sheaths securely ... what more can I say. Unless, I start speaking about the carry method. This knife was marketed as a "Scout Carry" which is something I've wanted for a while. Knife arrived and looked very promising, until I tried to thread a belt thru it. The loops on the sheath are so small they will not accept a 1.5 inch belt. In fact, they will "barely" accept a .75 inch belt. Not only this, but the straps are secured with snaps. They pop open very easily so trying to carry it Scout style would be a fool's mission at best.I found the previously mentioned Baby Kizer to have the same issue. Great knife, great sheath, crappy belt clip. On the Baby Kizer I removed the junk clip that it came with and ordered a ESEE - 3 Clip Plate that mounted perfectly on it. Made carrying it on the belt or as a clipped pocket carry very nice. So, I did the same with this knife and removed the default hardware. Replaced that with an UlTI-Clip for pocket carry. Works beautifully. Very comfortable and disappears into the pocket nicely. So ..... the knives are worth every penny. You'll love them. But, be prepared to replace the mounting hardware on the Kydex Sheath. Otherwise this would have been a five start rating. But three is as far as I can go having to immediately redo the mounting system right out of the box.
