Which is exactly what I wanted, although I am wearing dancers sock over my indoor shoes because my gym requires, we always have shoes on and enforces it. It just barely fits into the back seat of my 4-door sedan (I have the 10'x4'x2"). 8' long woulda worked out a lot better for me.I train front splits on this and slide down into it, was concerned my feet would catch where the sections are connected, total non-issue with that. I slide down fine and am working on sliding back up. This works much better for me than my yoga mat or plastic sliders that you just put your foot on. I am glad it is firm, any softer would not work out for what I am doing. Mine does have Velcro all around it and can be expanded.I have only trained on it once, but it works so much better than a yoga mat, very happy with my purchase. (I don't do yoga, I work on splits)

Excellent quality at very reasonable cost. As it's quite lightweight with well-designed handles, I took the mat to three Chicago sports/exercise equipment stores, along with the specs from the Amazon listing. Mats at those stores with the same measurements, covering and foam density as this brand cost from 50% to 120% to 190% more. This one is rugged, easy to fold and store, and does not slide on my hardwood floor. The listing states they are made with hook-and-loop fasteners to connect two or more; however, the two I received lack that feature. I would prefer that version, but ascribe the issue to either the boxes being improperly marked or items incorrectly binned at the warehouse. It is not a reason to decrease their rating. Highly recommended.

OMG..... Talk About Amazing Product.... So I believe in real honest reviews.... I weigh about 300lbs.... I have a bad back & horrible knees.... I bought this mat to be able to meditate as well as exercise..... I need support & to be comfortable.... I struggle with getting on the floor as well as getting off of it.... Most things that say they support heavy people do not be using REAL heavy people because half the time there's no stability & everything goes flat.... If you know then you know.... But I can honestly say when I laid this mat out I didn't know what to expect.... It was sooo soft & comfortable i almost wanted to make it my new bed.... Lol it gave me GREAT support.... & made me feel like i could conquer whatever I was gonna do with this mat.... The price was amazing as well.... So please don't raise it....

I am 50+ years old and just love this mat. Most mats that are made these days are thin yoga mats and I was looking for something that has extra cushion not only because it's more difficult to get on my knees with older age but I recently incurred an ankle injury. I can now easily get on and off the mat easier and have so much more cushion to do stretches and exercises. It's really like the old school mats we had growing up when we had PE! I bought a really big one and it's also nice to fold it in half and have even double the cushion! I use this more and more because I love it so.

The mat is great quality. I chose this over a yoga mat since i have bad knees due to injury and this is way more comfortable and has great cushion. it is firm but i think that’s the point so your body doesn’t sink to the floor. One star off cause i ordered the black one and got a pink one. Box came with a huge hole.

This is perfect for me because I have a bad knees so getting down on the floor to work out is hard for me. But the 2-in thick padding is perfect for my knee. Get rid of my yoga mat but this is a great replacement

My son has starting working out at home. He needed a soft yet firm space to do some exercises. This mat has been that space for him and it easily stores under his bed.

I gave this 5 stars for overall quality and use. I was using it outdoors, in the sun, and on a gravel walk. It held up well and there were no issues with cuts, etc. My only suggestion is NOT to buy black - it becomes very Hot and almost useless when in high UV situations - Buy a lighter color in my opinion.
