Superb
Rarely write reviews but had to for these. Engineers should be proud of this one. Mic quality is stupendous. The sound is remarkable. I prefer listening to these than my EQ'd sennheiser 490 pro or 600. Of course those are slightly more detail resolving than the a50 gen 5 but that is NOT necessarily a good thing in a lot of siblant songs. These are very nicely detailed without being siblant. The ear cushions let a lot of sound in and only really muffle bass tones. This is subjective but personally I think this is preferable for most people and fantastic for me since the sidetone can be minimal. The sidetone is exceptional, can't imagine how it could be tuned any better, perhaps with slightly more bass but it's so marginal I'm not sure I'm correct on that one. Much better sidetone than the blackshark v2 pro. Range was mentioned as being not as good as other headsets but I get better range with this than I do with the sony wh1000xm3 with bluetooth SBC codec, so to the other side of my flat through two walls, and obviously in a flat with lots of interference. Logitech app is clean and funcitonal. The dock is very nicely weighted and well made as are the headphones. The dock is very slightly fiddly to use but a little jiggle to get them charging once in a while is barely a complaint and as an engineer myself I wouldn't know how to easily improve it. They also come with a charging puck if you dont want to use the dock. Incredible headphones with no shortfalls for what I want. Can tell the engineers focused on all the important details and the result is sublime.

Honestly Surprised! This is not just a good headset, its an outstanding headphone!
I have been after a headphone or headset that I could use for everything I needed which was; Discord Calls, Music, Gaming and other activities. For the longest time I had the following headset/headphone combo:- Logitech G Pro X Headset --> Used for Gaming & Discord Calls- Sennheiser HD660S2 --> Used for Gaming & MusicAlongside the Sennheiser's, I also had a Desktop DAC & AMP stack to power them so it was always cumbersome to juggle multiple headset/headphones.I have tried to just have a single device to that could accomodate all my needs for just trying to use the Logitech G Pro X but they were no good when it came to Music and then I also tried the Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro but they were not comfortable and caused discomfort on my ears after 30 minutes. Now we have the Astro A50 Gen5, this is finally the headset that can literally do it all!I would not say I am an Audiophile but I definitely yearn for really good audio when it comes to Music & Gaming as with the latter I play mostly single player games so really good audio is a must for me.The Astro A50 Gen5 is not a traditional gaming headset, despite how it looks. Underneath that gaming exterior lies an actually really good set pair of headphones powers by a set of 40mm Graphene drivers that honestly put this on par with Sennheiser's headphones such as the HD559 or HD560s.Honestly for the longest time, gaming headsets were just ok headsets for gaming and calls but were mostly just bad when it came to actually wanting to listen to Music. This Astro A50 Gen5 are really good headphones that happen to be a pretty decent headset. If you are like me and want something that is really good for listening to Music and playing games but also can be used for Calls then the Astro A50 Gen5 is the headset to get!

After trying 8 headsets, this was the best one.
After trying 8 different wireless headsets (Turtle Beach Atlas Air, Turtle Beach Stealth 700, Razer Blackshark V2 Pro, Razer Kraken V4 Pro, Corsair HS80, Asus ROG Delta II, Audeze Maxwell and the Astro A50 Gen 5.. this is the headset I decided to settle with.Comfort and build quality is pretty good, and having full swivel on the Earpads to rest over your shoulders when not in use is a bonus.Sound quality is good, although out of the box it sounded very flat and lifeless to me, but managed to solve this with Dolby Atmos and some EQ.The software app is pretty basic to be honest, and battery life isn't amazing compared to others I tested, but even with me using them all the time, it's enough to get me through the day and then I just stick them on charge using the base station over night.A really great feature I like with this headset is how easy you can swap out the Earpads. They literally just clip on and off using magnets making it extremely convenient to swap pads to your liking. It's not perfect, and they are on the pricey side, but of all the ones I tested, this seemed the best one for me

A50 Stuck on xbox mode and connectivity issues. DO NOT BUY
Would not normally review but due to the price of this item i feel i have to.This headset was great to begin with, great simple connectivity, crisp microphone and great overall sound quality.Today i turned my computer on as usual and found out the headset was stuck on xbox mode and after doing some research found out this is a common problem that can occur randomly and is un fixable meaning that the headset is now unusable as i cannot connect to the pc. luckily i have one day left for my amazon returns and i will be using it to get my money back.Just be cautious as its expensive and logitech support i found to be poor.WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN.
