Granted, the photos here are 7 years apart. For the first 6 years I took only finasteride, but didn't take it too seriously (maybe 3 times a week, whenever I remembered) and didn't see a whole lot of improvement. But during the past year, I've made sure to take both minoxidil 2 x daily and finasteride 1mg 1 x daily and my results are fairly clear. I have not microneedled.Given I've ramped up my finasteride usage, I can't be sure how much difference minoxidil has made, but I am confident that it has helped. Dunno yet, it's only been 3 to 4 weeks. I've had no hair shedding, but then again, like some others report I have never had hair fall, never had hair fall out in the shower or anywhere. Its a mystery as to how my hair is thinner at all, where's it actually gone! I'll report back.

Headaches and a heart pain scare. I used this one time only and a couple of days later I had a strange type of headache I'd not had before (the pain felt different to me than my normal, occasional headaches). To top it all off I had heart pains too this evening... they lasted about 5 mins and went away, but scary isn't the word. I'll never be using this again. Minoxidil was the only thing different in my diet and healthcare routine. Maybe this will be relevant to someone too, I don't know, but I have a severe intolerance to Monosodium Glutamate - and Chat GPT states that a pre-existing intolerance to MSG could make a person more susceptible to having negative reactions such as this. YMMV, but I personally won't be using this again!

Wow this stuff works! Female here, using to replace the hairline that disappeared with my third pregnancy. I had been using consitently from January 2025 to May. This completely replaced my hairline, I saw a result after 2 months and had a full hairline coming back in by May. This was using the product every other day ( even every two days) and only using in the mornings ( females should not use this before bed, because of the risk of it spreading to pillows and it resting on the skin and growing hair there. It should also be the last step you do in your morning routine, after facial cleansing, make up etc. Again to not spread the product elsewhere). If you accidentally get the product on skin, wipe it away immediately and always wash hands before and after application.One bottle lasted me from Jan to June and I re -bought a second bottle in June and now (August) the beautiful hairline is back but not yet full. I unfortunately took a week and a half off in May, and all my new gained hairline dropped out. Sad times! But I am back on track now.It works, eventhough I only use in the mornings and don't do everyday, but you MUST NOT stop suddenly! It will fall out! I also take Pumpkin seed oil capsules - 2000mg or above, daily ( this is a natural DHT blocker, DHT is a hormone that causes hair shedding and makes the hair fall out).Extra note: I don't wash my hair every day ( around once a week) and I apply with either the spray bottle direct or on a cotton bud. I use a 0.25 dermal roller to massage in for about two minutes on each side. (This doesn't hurt).Loving my results and I will be consistent this time round!I hope this helps someone :)
