Incredibly versatile DAC/ Preamp which quite comfortably outperforms my previous equipment by some margin.Sound quality is superb, and full remote control is a luxurious touch.The industrial design results in a good looking and very sturdy feeling unit.On the negative side, the supplied remote is really on the cheap feeling side and there are no batteries supplied in the box for it. The 12v trigger cable is good enough but the USB A to B cable is on the short side and again feels cheap.These are relatively minor niggles, and overall it's an astonishing piece of equipment.

This was one of the best investments I made for music. I am grossly impressed the way this handles music. Has a very high quality, lossless bluetooth reception and the best part is that it has a USB input, that I am using to connect my Mac Mini. I have used a pair of M-Audio powered bookshelf speakers for the output and the result was MAGIC!! I would definitley buy Fosi Audio products for my future requirements.P.S: Please use high quality cables to interconnect audio components (DAC, Amplifier, Speakers etc.), it makes a big difference!!

Well I think it's a cracking dac the money I have the amp aswell thought would be interesting very good for me it's little sharp at times but I like that as at my age hearing is not what it used to be, but lovely clear sound

To my ears, and fed with a Flac audio source, this DAC sounds good. At the price, I paid less than £150, I can recommend this Fosi Audio ZD3 Desktop DAC Preamp.

The build quality is excellent and looks and sounds above the price for a DAC with all it's built in connections.I can now say all the reviews on YouTube are true, anyone buying this won't be disappointed.It's left me thinking of buying more Fosi.

I bought a ZA3 and was very impressed. So much so, I decided I wanted another so that I could run them as Monobloc. This gave me a good reason to buy a ZD3 to use as a DAC/Preamp and utilise the XLR inputs on ZA3's. So I purchased another ZA3 and a ZD3, a couple of XLR leads and WOW.Over the years I've owned several "Big Brand" hifi's and for clarity, quality and just all round great sound I could not recommend these latest Fosi Audio units anymore highly.I can only say these are great units and I can't wait to see what Fosi Audio come up with next.... I'll be buying it for sure. Buy one, you wont regret it.

Absolutely stunning little DAC. It is tiny but has transformed my music. I have powered speakers and a Chromecast audio. This connects the 2 and delivers excellent sound. Not expensive either.
