Socket Sticks on Spark Plug
The packaging is a challenge, but side cutters and screwdrivers saw the sockets free. They are nicely made and the rubbers bungs which grip the plugs when using the tool seem to be firmly attached. I fitted new plugs to the wife's Peugeot 207 - removed plugs with the tool - fitted new plugs using a piece of rubber pipe to avoid cross threading - and all went well until I tightened the first plug and removed the 3/8 drive extension only to find the socket was stuck on the end of the sparkplug, 9 inches down in the cylinder head. After a few attempts I removed the spark plug and used another long reach socket I have (one without a rubber bung) to tighten it - this other socket lifted easily off the plug. So I tightened the rest using my other long reach socket. After I finished the job, I experimented with the old spark plugs and concluded that to use the Laser sockets to tighten plugs, a thin smear of copper grease on the end of the plug and a piece of gaffa tape on the end of the 3/8 drive will enable me to separate the socket from the plug. So I know what to do next time !

Important Sizes
I bought these for my BMW F650 sparkplugs, as out of all the sets and random sockets i already had, i didnt have the right size for the sparkplugs on my bike. Typical.I only needed one of the three, so I`ve only used the one, but it did the job no problem and it sturdy. I think i had some other Laser tools somewhere and have never had issues with those.

You can't beat having the correct tools.
Arrived the following day, as promised. And how easy it suddenly is when you actually have a thin walled plug socket when you needed one all along and couldn't work out why the normal socket wasn't doing anything for a bit too long yesterday (embarrassingly so).As for all the problems people have described getting them off the packaging. Well, I started with the snips (the left one in the pics) as per other peoples' suggestions but it just isn't necessary. So let me help you guys out in future... Just grab the top of the holder tight and pull the end ones sideways as per the arrows in the pictures. Then do the same with the middle one. No broken bits, no flying plastic and you can then pull the inserts out of the plugs easily with a pair of pliers or clippers. Job done. You're welcome.Yes. Buy them. They were good value in Sep 2020.Oh, one more thing. Someone said that the rubber insert gripped their plugs too tight. My 18mm one (12mm plug) didn't grip it at all. Oh dear, how sad, never mind. Not a deal breaker.

Missing rubber insert !
The sockets themselves are good but the 16mm socket is missing the rubber insert to grip onto the spark plug
