Great Sambal sauce, terrible price
Okay, since I'd been used to buying Indofood Sambal Pedas sauce in Papua New Guinea, where the sauce is easily imported across the border, the price in the USA almost makes me choke. But-I was so very much missing my Indofood Sambal Pedas that I coughed up the big price. Wish I could find someone importing this great (mild-to-medium) hot sauce with lots of green pepper flavor.

Just what I was looking for!
I had the Heinz version of this in Bali at the Hard Rock Cafe, and loved it. I searched high and low for it when I got home, but had no luck finding it. I eventually found this brand during an Amazon search and decided to give it a try. It is very similar to the Heinz version that I was searching for. Since it was described as hot sauce, I was afraid it would have a thin texture like Tobasco or Frank's. This is a thick sauce, with about the same consistency as ketchup. It wasn't cheap, but it has the flavor I was wanting to find. I'm glad I gave it a try. The good part of this is that since it comes in 3 smaller bottles, you can give away the other 2 if you don't care for it... but I bet you'll keep it! LOL The bottles are made of plastic, so don't worry abiut them breaking when they are shipped.
