I simply had to try these suckers by Chupa Chups. I am wild about their puzzles, and some of the puzzles by PieceRelax refer to these Chupa Chups suckers. The suckers are delicious. They are not like most suckers. We all noticed they have a bit of a texture to them. Most suckers are smooth, but these have a really minute texture to them. When we came across a bubble in the sucker (just a few of them), it did't get that sharp, almost tongue cutting edge. Even when we bit into it and had those little pieces in our mouths, they don't have shape edges that threaten to cut the roof of our mouths or tongues. It seemed as if as soon as we noticed an edge, it was gone, smoothed over. I don't know what the difference in production is for their suckers compared to others, but we like it! We like the plastic sticks too. There's a hole in the top of the stick, and we thought it would be to make it whistle, but apparently not. They do, however, have some suckers, made differently than these, that the stick does make the sucker whistle, and I'll be ordering those shortly. These are flavorful throughout and very enjoyable. The media could not be loaded. My favorite brand lollipops and these are a nice smaller size. Unfortunately our bag barely had any chocolate lollipops which is my favorite flavor. I would prefer a higher proportion of choc & strawberry creme in the bag.I agree they are hard to open but I’m actually glad they are sealed well. For people having trouble unwrapping them, grab the head and try holding it upside down or sideways. Then with the other hand untwist the bottom end of the wrapper. The wrapper will loosen and be easier to open.

I have been a huge fan of Chupa Chups lollipops since I was a kid, so I was beyond excited when I found out about the mini versions. Some of the reviews said the flavors are not evenly mixed in the bag so upon receiving, I sorted the flavors just to see. I like all the flavors, so the uneven distribution didn't really make much of a difference. I got the most Strawberry and Creme and Orange and the least Chocolate and Creme, this was actually in my favor, as Strawberry slightly wins over the rest of the flavors for me. Actually wish there was even more variety in the mix like Cola, Green Apple, Lemon, and Watermelon.Now, onto the taste. I didn't really think that this would be a problem but the minis do taste different from the original size Chupa Chups. I was quite disappointed to open the Strawberry one and didn't find the beautiful double color of half transparent clear an half transparent pink that is signature to the original size Chupa Chups candy. It was just one pink color (that is different from the original pink color) and made it feel like just any plain lollipop. The taste is also different from the original size which was surprising, not sure if the duel color played a role? Out of all the flavors, Strawberry and Cherry taste the most different, while the Cremosa ones are almost the same and Orange being only slightly different. The taste is not "bad" it's just not the same, but not to say you won't know what flavor you are having. The Cremosa ones are the only ones with double color (half white and half pink (strawberry) / half brown (chocolate), note the color is also darker than the original size. I have also just had some original size Chupa Chups, so this is not based on memory of years ago, the taste difference is real.Some have mentioned that the wrapper is hard to remove, which was not a huge surprise, as the original ones are even harder to remove. We call this child-proof at home, and I don't have much issues with it as it keeps the candy fresh. (tip: use scissors and cut above the wrapped part and peel off)Since there was so many in the bag, I actually ended up making candy boutique for some graduation. This makes great gifts, as it's also fun to add in goodie bags. Overall for the price it's great value. However because of the flavor difference, I might not buy the mini ones again.

Yummy kids lollipops that an adult palate can enjoy. Creamy strawberry or chocolate. Fresh flavor and well made. Good size too. For the kids it’s an easy 5 Star. For me it’s a solid 4 Star.

Taste great, were super fresh and had a great variety of flavors. Colors were nice. Liked that these weren’t just typical flavors and had cola and strawberry as those are my favorites.
