This Skilsaw isn't heavy to work with and is easy to use. I was able to make accurate cuts and stay on my line while cutting. It fits well in your hand and is comfortable to use. Safety guard in place and it is able to withstand the task. It is a power tool that runs on electricity or through a generator. Great price and great shipping in its original packaging.

I am not a big friend of the Skil brand due to bad experiences in the past, but I was encouraged to buy this saw for my workshop because of its power and low price and I was pleasantly surprised. When I have it in my hands I notice that it is very heavy and that is a very positive point since this tells me that it is a very powerful saw and for those of us who work with wood that is all we need a lot, a lot, a lot of power and This saw has it.Now, when it comes to cutting, it is necessary to have experience since its shoe is metal and not aluminum like the high-end ones, but it is obvious that if this is a mid-range shoe, this is how its materials will be. But in conclusion it seems like a good saw and I was surprised by its power. Al momento de tenerla en mis manos noto que es muy pesada y eso es un punto muy positivo ya que esto me dice que es una sierra de gran potencia y para los que trabajamos con madera es todo lo que necesitamos mucha, mucha , mucha potencia y esta sierra la tiene.Ahora bien a la hora de cortar es necesario tener experiencia ya que su zapata es metálica y no en aluminio como las de gama alta pero es obvio que si esta es gama media así serán sus materiales. Pero en conclusión me parece una buena sierra y me ha dejado sorprendido su potencia. I picked up the Skil 5080-01 for some home improvement projects, and it’s done the job really well. It’s lightweight but still feels sturdy in your hands, and the 13-amp motor has plenty of power for basic woodcutting and DIY work. The saw starts up smoothly and the adjustments for depth and bevel are pretty intuitive. I wouldn’t use it for heavy-duty contractor jobs, but for cutting plywood, 2x4s, and trim around the house, it’s perfect. The included blade is decent, but I swapped it out for a finer one for cleaner cuts. All in all, a solid choice if you want something affordable and dependable for home use.
